Recently Bundu Trek was invited to join a local 4WD club for a twilight ridge climb to watch the sun set and the moon rise. We and two other couples met up with the group at a local shopping plaza and convoyed to the trail head. The trail is rated at 'most difficult' and was very steep, especially on the decent which was a different way down than the climb up. Other than the steepness, it wasn't very difficult although at least a rear locker and good ground clearance was needed to do the trail without excessive white knuckles.

| Time to mount up and hit the trail |

| My partner and co-driver didn't see the black diamond rating for the trail. Better off not knowing. |

| Off we go! |
| The climb gets steeper |
| Even higher - note the rest of the group laboring up the hill |
| Still higher |
| Higher yet! |
| Just about to the top |
| We made it! |

| An interesting meteorological phenomena - a nice rainbow high in the sky |
| Dinner time! |
| The sun sets in the west... |

Wow, neat trip. I like the sunset and the moon rise together.
